NEW ALBUM RELEASE

At the start of the European winter, Julien Wilson visited Berlin while on tour. During his time there, Richie Maegraith suggested capturing the moment with a recording session.

With just two and a half hours in the studio, the aim was simple: record as much music as possible. For Greg Ambroisine, it was a first meeting — and first performance — with Julien, making the session both an introduction and a spontaneous collaboration. Will Pethick also contributed original compositions written specifically for the session, which had never been performed before.

The strength of the session led directly to the decision to release the recordings as a limited release CD.
